URM Audio Ltd specializes in the recording of all forms of acoustic music - from folk and jazz, to choral and small-scale classical. Our award-winning Mobile Recording Unit offers state of the art (24-bit, high-sample rate) engineering, and is linked to our Audio Post-Production Facility at Wood Farm which then provides the highest calibre editing, mixing, and CD mastering.

Recordings always take place on location, in venues chosen for the suitability of their acoustic signature, from large barns to small churches and cathedrals.

Although our main clientele is drawn from the professional music industry, URM Audio is also keen to produce music with a wider musical community. Our new Summer 2008 deals, developed in association with the Old Granary Studio recording venue, are designed for the committed amateur musician or musical group, or the independent professional, who wishes to produce their own CD, or material for web-distribution, and incorporate our separate musical services into a single cost effective package.

URM Audio Ltd has a unique corporate structure: minimal, flexible and musical – every member of the team, from clerical assistant to Company Director is daily and directly involved in the making of music (our Bank Manager plays jazz trombone!): we like to think of ourselves as a company of musicians, fanatical about sound and music, working for musicians, fanatical about how their music sounds.
